  1. 1/2 cup peanuts roasted and skin removed
  2. 3-4 tbsp Chana dal roasted
  3. 2 tbsp urad dal roasted
  4. 1 cup coconut pieces
  5. 1/2 cup water
  6. to taste Salt
  7. 2 green chillies
  8. 1/2 inch ginger
  9. For Tempering
  10. 8-10 curry leaves
  11. 1/2 tbsp mustard seeds
  12. 2 dry red chillies

Steps to make Coconut Peanut Chutney

  1. Blend all the ingredients except tempering ones, with adding water in intervals.
  2. For Tempering, heat oil in pan, add mustard seeds. Let them crackle. Then add curry leaves
  3. After a few seconds, add chillies. Fry for a few seconds. Switch off the flame and pour the tempering over the chutney. Mix well. Enjoy with Idlis or dosas or any Chillas.
