- In the same pan take 1&1/4 cup water, 2 tsp of rice powder, a pinch of salt, ghee, and mix. Put it on medium flame and let it come to a boil. On low flame add sieved rice powder little by a little while stirring constantly. With the help of a ladle knead the dough for a minute and switch off the flame. Cover with lid and let it rest for 8-10 minutes.



- Meanwhile, prepare the stuffing. In a pan take crushed jaggery, 2 tsp water, and let it come to a boil.


- In another pan take grated coconut, 1 tsp ghee, and roast it until aromatic. Strain the jaggery mixture to the coconut and stir until the mixture comes together.


- Add in roasted sesame seeds, cardamom powder, and mix. Switch off the flame and let it cool.


- When it is warm enough to handle, divide the dough into 2-3 portions and knead it on a plate with wet hands. Knead until the dough is smooth and soft. Divide the dough into lemon size balls and keep it covered.



- Carefully place it on a mound and stuff it the coconut mixture and give the shape of kadbu.



- Take dough and press it with a roti maker lined with butter paper greased with ghee to thickness of paratha.


- Prepare other kadbus too. Take water in steamer and put it on medium flame. Grease steamer plate with ghee and arrange kadabu without overlapping. Steam it for 10 minutes. After 5 minutes remove the plates and carefully transfer Kadabu to the serving plate.

- Kadabu is ready to offer to Ganesha.
