- Soak the rice and daal for overnight. Grind it in the grinder. Add salt in that. Keep it for fermentation for overnight or minimum 8 hours.


- Grease the idli mould with ghee and pour the ladleful batter. Steam it for 10 minutes. Demould it.



- Collect all chuteny ingredients together in mixie jar. Grind it with a little water.



- Prepare the seasoning. Take a pan. Add urad, mustard, curry leaves, dried red chilli and asafoetida. Pour it into the chutney. Mix it. Serve with idli.
