  9. 2 ltr water (approximately)
  10. 1/2 tsp haldi

  1. First of all, boil chana daal by adding some haldi, mix it and make it soft.
  2. In the mean while, take a big pot and put cardamom and cinnamon sticks. Turn on the flame. Leave is to boil.
  3. Take Gurr and cut it if it is soft. If it is hard, put it in mortar and pestle and try to mash it.
  4. Put all gurr inside the water.
  5. Crush the coconut or scrap it. Add into the gurr water and start stirring it.
  6. Add salt and sugar. It will balance the taste of Gurr. Leave it for 5-10 mins to cook.
  7. Meanwhile, chana daal gets soft, take a pestle and mash it ir just to rub it with your hand. Keep it in mind daal shouldn’t be mashed totally.
  8. Take chawal atta in a bowl and pour water and dissolve it.
  9. Pour chawal atta water slowly and keep stirring. Add mashed chana daal also.
  10. Keep stirring till the boil comes. And the soup gets thick
  11. Leave it on stove on medium for an hour. Mean while keep stirring it to avoid sticking at the bottom of the pot.
