Coconut Ladoo are traditional Indian sweet balls made with coconut, cardamom powder, a sweetener and milk. We make these for most festivals and occassions. Its taste are delicious and easy to make. Enjoy this recipe
Ingredients and spices that need to be Prepare to make Coconut Ladoo:
- 200 gm desiccated coconut
- 200 gm condensed milk
- 1 tsp ghee
- 1/2 cup desiccated coconut for Ladoo rolling
- 1 tsp cardamom powder
- 4 tbsp chopped pistachio
Instructions to make Coconut Ladoo
- Heat a non-stick pan with 1 tsp ghee, add desiccated coconut, stir and roast it in low flame for 3-4 minutes. Don't brown them.

- Add condensed milk and cardamom powder and combined well. Stir well and cook it on low flame. Cooking stirring continuously until the entire mixture turns to thicken. Don't over cook otherwise the ladoos will turn hard.

- When the mixture begins to leave the side of the pan, turn off the flame and immediately transfer it to a plate and allow to cool it.


- When the mixture is still warm, add chopped pistachio or any nuts and mix it well.

- Now take a small portion of this mixture to your palm and make a small balls

- Roll them in desiccated coconut. This step is optional.


- Serve it or store in refrigerator in airtight container for 4-5 days.
